Okay, so if you aren't reading sonofabiscuit77 's Ross-verse the World's Forgotten Boys you seriously SERIOUSLY should be.

I don't actually rec as much as I should but I don't think I've loved anything this much in a long time. It's a beautifully and wonderfully written story about Sam, Dean and a half brother. It's so well done and believable. It's full of wincesty goodness, angst, and general Winchester bullishness. She does Ross so well you can almost forget he isn't actually a Winchester. No lie. Go check this out.
